Welcome to www.jeffspielman.com. I'm a native New Yorker - a 4th generation resident of the world's greatest city. I strive to create unique photos of New York City, often with a moody and mysterious edge. My pictures reflect the rhythms and textures of city life - the streets and sidewalks, the buildings and bridges, the trees and landscapes of New York provide me with an endless source of inspiration. I've been a photographer for over 25 years, since graduating from Drew University with a B.A. in Anthropology.
My work is regularly licensed by advertising and editorial clients worldwide. I'm proud of the numerous book covers that have featured my photos. My book cover credits include titles by prominent authors such as Joyce Carol Oates, Walter Mosley, Tom Wolfe, Michael Cunningham and Mary Higgins Clark.
